Sri Shivananda Lahari !! Lyrics & Its meaning 51 – 60

Jaya Jaya Sankara Hara Hara Sankara  !!
Oh! Lord of Srisailam who performed cosmic dance at the desire of Sage Bringhi, vanquisher of the demon Gajasura, extremely delightful at the splendor of Lord Vishnu, personification of Pranava Manthra ‘ OM’ and embodiment of unblemished brilliant luster,  revered by Lord Manmatha, savior of deities, dwells in the Mount Srisailam, omnipresent Lord of Srisailam and consort of Goddess Sri Bhramarambika I earnestly pray to constantly reside in my lotus like heart.
Oh! Lord Shambu, Oh! Neelakanda, who has the blue throat, showers boundless nectar of compassion, highly competent in the destruction of huge castle of heinous sufferings, praised by the virtuous for the righteousness, capable to disguise at his own will, resides in the midst of dancing peacocks like staunch devotees, dweller in the mount with attractive dancing matted hair locks, my heart like Chathaka bird desires for your presence always.
Oh! Lord Neelakanda, who has the sky as his crown, adores the chief of the serpents Adishesha as his jewel, blessing his devotees who prostrates before him, persistently praised by the scriptures and who is the manifestation of the sound ‘Keki’ of Pranava Manthra, dances in complete bliss at the cloud like splendor of Goddess Sri Parvati, daughter of Mount Himavan, all pervading in the garden of Vendanta, I venerates the Lord Neelakanda.
Oh! Lord Neelakanda, who plays the marvelous cosmic dance at the divine sounds of percussions played by Lord Vishnu at the time of dusk and at the end of monsoon which reverberates like the rumbling of clouds, envisioned by the deities as lightening, the tears of staunch devotees as rain and Goddess Sri Parvati as the dancing peacock, I venerates the blue throated male peacock Lord Neelakanda.
Oh! Lord Shambu, who exists from the beginning of the Universe, possessed remarkable radiance, pronounced by sacred Vedas, easily attainable, unblemished form of wisdom & bliss, savior of three worlds, meditated by the Sages & Rishis, eulogized by the deities, conqueror of illusion, prominent performer of cosmic dance who has matted hair locks, provider of all the fortunes, I prostrate before you.
Oh! Lord Shambu, who is eternal with all three Gunas such as Satva, Rajass and Thamass, victorious over Thripura, fruit of Goddess Sri Parvati’s severe penance, a factual form resides in the heart of Sages and Rishis as the personification of ultimate wisdom, creator of the three worlds with illusion, quintessence of the sacred Veda and Upanishads, performs cosmic dance in the hours of Sandhya, I venerates the Lord Shambu who has beautiful matted hair locks.
Oh! Lord Pasupathi, I have been aimlessly wandering with all those desires to accumulate wealth.  Oh! Vibho, I am unaware of selfless service to you.  Oh! Lord Pasupathi, who is the remover of the sins of your devotees, I have come to know the perpetual form of bliss of Supreme Lord due to the good deeds in my past.  Therefore, I am deserved to be protected by you.
Oh! Lord Pasupathi, Lord Surya removes the darkness in the entire Universe with its brilliance and appears before the eyes of all creatures.  You are the embodiment of crores of Lord Aditya, why you have not seen by me? Alas, I realized the darkness of ignorance of mine.  I earnestly pray to remove the intense darkness of my ignorance and appear before me.
Oh! Lord Pasupathi, Oh! Vibho, swan desires to reside in the pond full of lotuses, Chathaka birds desires for black and thick clouds, Chakravaha birds desires for Lord Surya the favorites of lotuses, Chakora birds desires for Lord Chandra, in this way my heart should always yearn for you through ultimate wisdom & Knowledge.  Oh! Gaurinatha, my heart persistently desires for your lotus feet which is capable for providing salvation.
Oh! Lord Shambu, an individual sinking down deep in the water would seek for shoreline, a hungry and tired traveler seek for the shadow of a tree, an individual trapped in the downpour seek for a shelter, an voyager seeks for the presence of villager, a poor individual seek for a righteous and wealthy person, an individual struggling in the darkness seek for a drop of light, an individual suffering in the freezing cold desires for bonfire.  Oh! Heart, desire and surrender at the lotus feet of Lord Shambu which is capable to provide all the righteousness and remove fears.
